The first step in my own transformation involved getting a hold on spending habits. I began to recognize how I found worth in the money I made, the positions I held, the things I had, or the bank balance I could see. Mint Experience a fresh way to manage money. In 2011, I started using Mint to track my spending. It helped me reduce unnecessary spending over 150%. What you focus on, gets managed.

#2 QuickBooks

QuickBooks: Run your whole business from inventory and invoices to projects and people. You may or may not know I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well. For years, I have used tools like QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and IntAcct helping others make and manage money.

I have found for Small Business Owners, QuickBooks is not only a great starting point, but helps your business automate and scale as well!

LivePlan: Plan, fund and grow your business. Easily write a business plan, secure funding, and get insights to help you reach your goals.

I started using LivePlan to help entrepreneurs, businesses, and start-ups set up, grow, and get investors with their businesses.

The program has evolved extensively from disk to cloud based, along with an extensive template library, benchmarks and pitch presentations to help your business.

TD Ameritrade: Set up automatic deposits, learn about stocks, invest in companies. I started using TD Ameritrade min 2004 when I worked at the credit union. I love their easy to use platform, and educational tools to help your investment knowledge grow.

Acorns: Invest, grow, earn, spend, later automatically week by week and round-ups to whole dollars from your spending.

I have used this for years helping me build saving habits too! I am in nowhere near perfect and always a work in progress.

#6 Financial Peace University

Financial Peace University: Step by Step with Dave Ramsey and his team on Finance Peace to put money back in your pocket.

I first took FPU in 2011. It dramatically impacted many things for me both in the spiritual and the natural. Since I am and we are always evolving, I chose to take it again in 2015. In 2019, I chose to teach it twice as a volunteer. Needless to say, I am a fan. There are many things that align.

Many things that scripture has revealed to me in creating wealth as well. I am not free and/or financially free yet. I am focused on being free in all forms. Galatians 5:1.
