Handle Your Habits

What are your habits? In your health? In your wealth? In your business? In your relationships?

When I started to really get real with myself in all areas of my life, I zeroed in on my habits.

I didn't like what I found.

It all starts with your health and a healthy mind.

I want you to get really honest with yourself. I purposely keep it very simple. For example, in your health, you're going to see in the free guide I ask questions like do you drink alcohol, do you drink water and how often, are you eating consistently versus are you eating protein every meal, how many times do you eat complex carbs, and I’m going to teach you what those are.

For example, if you drink alcohol five times a week, zero judgment, one of the things on that side of the paper, I’m going to ask you, pick one thing and just decrease it by little because massive results come from small actions consistently over time.

You might not think, “Oh, it’s that big of a deal to give up one drink a week,” or two drinks every time you go out but over time, you guys, those changes are massive.

On the other side, let’s say you don’t eat protein every meal. I’m going to basically say pick one thing and increase it so your equation is exactly balanced. You’re decreasing on one side, you're increasing on the other side.

I follow the same methodology with your money and with your business.

For example, if you have a crazy shopping habit that’s bleeding your credit cards dry and causing you to overdraft your account, one of the things I’m going to say is, hey, let’s become conscious instead of unconscious. (Yes, I used to do this)

Let's maybe decrease that shopping spree by once a week or once a month so you can kind of follow the logic and then on the other side, let’s say you're not saving at all, so let’s take that money you didn't spend and now put it in a money for me account which is something I actually learned from Kate Northrup as well.

With that, you guys, dive into the habit identifier and start focusing on changing and replacing the habit within a month. Basically, you'll have one habit you'll change in health, one habit that you increase, so one will decrease, one will increase. The same exact thing with money and the same exact thing with business and you'll be amazed at the results you'll get 30 days from now. In 30 days from now, you'll do the same thing all over again.

I personally do an accountability meeting with myself every single day in my head and then once a week, I sit down and go through seven different things that I hold myself accountable too but that comes up more in the momentum maker in other aspects and other programs if you decide to continue to join with us but that’s just a sneak peek of that as well so again, take action. Don’t think it’s too small and don’t try to become perfect overnight. You did not get to where you are overnight and you're not going to unwind that string overnight.

Be patient and be compassionate with yourself.
