You’ve perhaps got an idea of branding, content, and social media. You’ve perhaps started in some areas, or feel like you've got colors, themes, and consistency going.
You’re concerned about your strategy, your structure, your systems. You’re concerned about clarity with your branding, making the most of your content, and getting super consistent with social media and what you offer in your business.
You’re worried about picking the right photographers (or shooting yourself better), making creating content easier, and making the most of your time.
You’re afraid of not effectively communicating on social media and your website, but you are equally worried about cash flow, paying the bills, as well as the results they will (or won’t deliver)....
Yet you are more afraid of not getting your story, your experience, and your brand out there, so you hang on through the process.
You are still reading because… because deep down inside you know there has to be a better way to repurpose your content for social media and your business for long term results (elevate energy, reach your community, exponential exposure, share your message, and make more money long term).
What if…
What if you created content with clarity to truly connect, create and cultivate?
What if you were able to create the feeling you want people to feel?
What if you repurposed content and photography across all platforms?
What if you repurposed content and photography across your offerings?
What if you made momentum with them easily with pre to post event content?
What if you developed relationships with creators with collab options?
Imagine the return…Imagine the results…
It is possible to create it.
How do I know?

Background
I completely get it! Before 2014, I had no idea about creating and repurposing content for social media and business. The only social media posting I ever did was strictly personal and/or motivational! I maybe tuned in once every two weeks or so! I worked in industries and positions where I was not directly involved in social media. My roles ranged from strategy to finance to compliance!
However, when I started getting into fitness and a lifestyle business, I recognized the influence and power of story sharing and social media fast!
This took me back to college - when we did word of mouth advertisement in creating organizations and being leaders on campus. Although, Facebook didn't even exist when I was in college, I recognized that the concept of content creation, social media, influencer marketing all relates to connection, creation, cultivation - and the post powerful form of influence - word of mouth.
To give you insight into my own results - my first year in sharing my story on social media with my before and after photo showing how I lost >55 lbs., my business blew up 25X on one platform alone without any ads! I realized then how influential social media could be!
I was on one platform then, and even thinking about Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest (oh my!) overwhelmed me!
I think we can all agree — creating a life and business you love involves always learning new skills and tools. Social media is definitely one of them, and it continues to evolve.
Before 2014, the only platform I was on for business was LinkedIn. I thought of it as resume type builder and/or Business 2 Business platform. Then, when I had the experience with Facebook, I expanded my mind to learn the other platforms step by step.
I also recognized the impact and inspiration with influencers and started to learn from and create a community with them! The insight across Google Search Engines, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Podcasts I've learned has been crazy amazing!
I focused on How to Get Smart with Social. I translated this on How to Repurpose Content for Social Media and Business. I am big on creating clarity, saving time and money. Who isn't?

The firmer your foundation, the easier it will be to create and repurpose content.
It is so easy to get caught up in complexity of content creation.
The simpler and easier we make it, the faster you get results.
Here are some questions to help you:
1) Are you clear on your messaging?
2) Do you know the people you want to reach?
3) What type of phone and camera do you have?
4) How clear are your images and pictures?
5) What types of photographers / bloggers do you love?
6) Which platforms are you on currently?
7) How often do you post consistently?
8) What platform is next for you?
9) What tools do you use to post?
10) How are you automating and saving time?

There are a number of approaches to take.
Let's start with the most cost effective!
The first thing I want you to focus on is take action.
Simply start, practice, repeat.
Look at your social media and your pictures and compare to others that you love. How clear are your images? Years ago, my images were super blurry. I took for granted the power of social media! I learned though from countless others and practice, practice, practice!
1) DIYer
A great way to start is have a great phone with a great camera! I recently upgraded to the brand new IPhone and I have a tripod so I can set the timer and do my own pictures a lot! I think about what I want to "show" with my picture, and the "feeling" I want others to have .

You are the talent and the photographer!
(Or ask someone to help you out!)
These are examples of shots I took with a tripod and/or asked my mom or dad to take that I was illustrating creating a life and business I love.
2) Invest
A great way to learn is to invest in a great photographer that will help you be a better DIYer too! My first two photoshoots were with Brett Seeley and Harry with LHGFX after my first fitness show (I cried when I saw my pictures because I was so humbled that this was actually me after losing over 50 lbs in a year and half)!
I learned so much during that shoot on lighting, angles, intent, and story! Not only did I get amazing images, but it set me up for a lifetime!

Upfront Investment
I did this photoshoot as a way to document my results in weight loss and share on social media. I then learned to include the photos on all platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn), as well as challenges, guides, and more!
3) Collaborate
A great way to learn is to collaborate with photographers (barter something you have of value for their photography!). I've had photographers like Morgan Hayes approach me for a photoshoot in exchange for blog posts, social media, and our 7 Day Challenge as an example of an collaboration!
