Regardless of your experience level, industry, and skill levels, you are capable of sharing on social like a boss. I didn't get here overnight and I will continue to evolve.

I found the more I simplified and amplified, the better things flowed including alignment and results. Whether this was in 25 min focus windows, scaling with a virtual assistant or tech tool, or focusing on an area in a day, I found ways to take aligned action.

Whether this involved social media, blogs, websites, videos and/or online courses, I created a 5 step system I consistently follow.

5 Steps include:

Overview of Road Map

Insights Into Platforms

Finding Tools & Press

Scheduling

Creating It

When I keep my mindset focused like this, each step leads to results and next milestone.

Starting Point for In a Day Approach

A great place to start is list out which area you want to focus on first.

Checklist

Social Media

Blog

Website

Video

Course

The next step might involve brainstorming names for your themes, tools and timing. I've got great examples with our Creation Club lifestyle transformation mastermind and the free #14daychallenge.

Social Media Like a Boss

When I began in social media, I started on Facebook. I knew I wanted to grow on Social Media. I outlined wellness, media, and travel ideas. I implemented whether it was here in Atlanta, or traveling globally on our retreats. I learned from people like Brendon Burchard, Ashley Renne, and Bo Eason.

I regularly get inspired from so many including features we have coming up in this series on blog and podcast . I researched and reviewed tools to make it easier for Social Media like Preview, Later, and IFTTT to name a few. I blocked out a half to full day including 25-45 min segments per milestones in the five steps.

I constantly learn and adjust whether via Facebook, Instagram, and Podcasting. In 2020 so far, I am in over 15+ Facebook communities to increase community and opportunities to serve and receive. On Instagram, I am increasing video, communities and launches. With podcasting, I now do series in e.g. wellness, business, marketing, and travel.

I regularly revisit overview, platforms, tools, scheduling, and creating in sharing on social. In addition to this, I am constantly creating my own community online and via influencer marketing.

Blogging Better

I am so proud of how far I have come. Don't believe me? Go back to my posts years ago. Not only will your writing improve dramatically with practice, but you will learn from so many tools and writers.

Whether you decide to start your own blog on a tool like Wix, use a platform like Medium, and/or repurpose content on LinkedIn to name a few ideas; you will increase your exposure on so many platforms with people.

I've learned so much already from reading and writing for publications like Publishous, Live on Purpose and Better Marketing alone via Medium. Within the last few weeks, I have had 3 articles curated by editors - meaning increased exposure to over 60 million on their platform alone.

Evaluate if a blog is your next step. Is it creating it? How about growing it? Perhaps, you are ready to repurpose on platforms like LinkedIn. Maybe you want to increase your published work, and get on Medium's Partnered program to add an income stream.

Website Wonder

Don't think for a second this website arrived as you see it here. You are looking at Version 15.0. In 2015, when this site started it was strictly via Wix, <5 pages, and no blog or newsletter. It evolved step by step with visuals, copy, and the blog.

It grew with events, fundraisers, and the newsletter. I took it to a new level with integrations with marketing all in 1 with Kajabi for our freebies, online courses, and influencer marketing platform. All of this evolved step by step with learning and applying tools, platforms and communities.

I stay uncomfortable in every way knowing I, or you, have never arrived. At the same time, being proud of and celebrating every step no matter how small.

Evaluate where your website is. Do you have one yet? Is something leading you to create one or have one created. In my In a Day course, I walk you through tons of behind the scenes. At our events and retreats, we dive deep into executing your website.

Keep in mind, I have been creating sites for 20+ years including HTML and Flash back in the day in college. Now, it is much easier with tools and templates like Wix, Kajabi, and Unsplash.

We hold our worlds in our hands via our phones as well so keep in mind your mobile friendly site. Around 50% of our monthly visits come from mobile accessing our mobile website version.

Video

Years ago, videos terrified me. Yes, I regularly do public speaking and workshops. However, shifting to do video when no one is around you felt so weird to me in the beginning. Just like anything else, with practice everything changes.

I learned from Ashley Renne during our retreat in Cuba to pretend you are talking to your best friend when you do them. That changed so much for me. Weekend Voyagers showed and taught me so much about outlining your videos and the flow from start to finish. I learned from Brendon Burchard online and in person on aligning video to social media and online courses.

You can see how there is a lot of investment of time and money in each area. What I found the most important is learn and apply whether you learn for free online or pay for a course or events.

In the beginning, I used my iPhone for videos. I continued to do this through the first freebies and several courses I created via Kajabi. I used a simple editing app that is free on your phone called Splice App. I still use the same editing tool today. At the end of 2018, I decided to upgrade to a Canon EOS M100, vlogging flip screen camera. Mainly, this was for space purposes.

After years of practice, I may now film over 12 weeks of content for our online mastermind in a few hours. If I can do it, so can you.

Start with where you are. Could you start with your IG or Facebook stories? How about doing lives regularly? Did you start your videos via IG & IGTV yet? Have you created your first freebie on your website yet? Do you share on social regularly?

Course Creator

Anyone I learned from about online courses, I didn't find them teaching hands on with the tools. Because of how long it took me to figure it out, I became passionate about hands-on approach with the tools.

I did the same when I was in Corporate America in training roles with strategy, finance and operations. I found over and over unless you lead people to apply knowledge in a short amount of time in a simple way they typically let fear stop them.

With courses, I found myself asking people at events I attended how many courses they had launched. >75% said none after going to >3 of the same events. I said no way would I allow people to even keep paying me with no results other than motivation.

I came into all of those events with intentions of immediately setting up courses in 30-90 days. After my first two live events in entrepreneurship and speaking, I created a 7 day online challenge and our online mastermind up to 90 days in <90 days. I believe in pushing you to potential as well.

I researched various tools and found Kajabi, Teachable and others I found complicated to add freebies and courses via your own site. Many online educators I learned from use Kajabi and I love it. You may see various examples via our freebies, ambassadors, management. and brand page via experiences as well. You may start off as well creating via a platform like SkillShare for more ideas.

If you love hands-on, I share this via our freebies, online courses and events as well.
